Upon entering the site, the organisation reserves the right to check what you have with you. This is to ensure the safety of you and other visitors.
If you are asked to show your jacket, bag or contents of your pockets we expect you to cooperate with this.
You are not permitted to bring any food or drinks, weapons, professional photo- or film-equipment, glass (this includes perfume bottles), umbrellas, drugs or flammable objects into the festival.
Yes! There will be lockers at the festival in which you can store your belongings while you’re out enjoying yourself.
There will be plenty of food stands at the festival.
No, it is not legal anymore to sell cigarettes at festivals.
Make sure to bring your card because Expedition Festival 2023 will be card only! No tokens needed.
Expedition Festival does its best to make the festival accessible to people with disabilities. Most trails are wheelchair accessible. There are also toilets that are accessible to people in wheelchairs. If you need any help or extra info send an e-mail to info@expeditionfestival.nl
Expedition festival 2023 will be on the 22nd of july from 13:00 until 23:00.
This year the expedition will take place on the Ferro grounds in Rotterdam. The festival will be in- and outdoor. The entrance is on the side of the Benjamin Franklinstraat. Navigate to this adress to find the entrance.
Go to metrostation Marconiplein, from here on it’s a 10 minute walk to the area.
From Rotterdam CS you can get to the festival by bike, sharing scooters or by walking! We strongly recommend the locals to come by bike.
You need to be 18 years or older to attend.
Due to the sale of alcohol on site, all visitors who are under the
age of 18 will not be admitted to the festival site, even if they have a ticket.
If you have bought a ticket, but have not yet received a ticket confirmation, please check your spam. If you still can’t find your ticket, the best thing to do is contact CM tickets.

It’s not necessary to change the name on the ticket when you want to sell your ticket or pass it onto someone else. The new owner of the ticket can still enter the festival with that ticket.
An early entrance ticket means you have to be inside the festival before 16:00. Make sure you arrive in time just in case there is a queue at 16:00. If you arrive after 16:00 you will have to pay an additional fee on top of your ticket.
